Aromatics consist of cheery cola, earth notes, and Red fruit,  Flavors of Cherry and Raspberry with lasting acidity to carry the fruit. Cold soaked for 5 days, total skin contact time of 18 days.   Aged for 20 months in neutral oak barrels.  This Estate Pinot Noir is a good example of Pinots from the Puget Sound AVA.  Should age well for the next 5 – 8 years.

These high density vines are comprised of approximately 35% Pommard on 3309 and RIP, 25% 667 on RIP, 3309, 20% 777 on RIP, 3309, and 101-14, and 20% 115 on RIP, 3309, and 101-14, all of which were planted in 2004. Each of these clones has a different flavor profile and when combined produce a structured and balanced wine with good long-lasting acid to carry the flavors over time.  Time to drink some Pinot!
