Telve di sopra Vineyard uses light weight bottles to limit the impact of transportation costs, transportation vehicle emissions, bottle manufacture resource consumption, glass disposal waste, and soreness of my back when I move the cases of wine around. At 460 grams per bottle vs 775 grams for a typical Burgundy bottle, there is a significant reduction in all the concerned areas. In addition, the bottles are made in the USA right here in Washington State from 50 – 85% recycled glass.
